Terms & Service Policy

What you get — and what to expect.

Plain-English terms for our design and diagnosis services. No fine print traps. If anything here is unclear before you order, just ask.

1. What we deliver

Every service is defined by a fixed list of deliverables — the files and documents you receive. Our commitment is to deliver that list, done to professional standard. We sell engineering judgment and analysis, not a guaranteed production outcome.

2. Timelines

Delivery dates are good-faith estimates, not guarantees. We'll give you a target date when we accept the job and keep you updated.

The clock only runs when we have what we need. If required files, drawings, material grades, or machine parameters are missing or incomplete, the timeline pauses until you provide them. We can't be held to a deadline while waiting on inputs.

3. What each report covers — and how we mark it

Our reports combine automated analysis with 40 years of hands-on judgment. So you always know how sure we are, every finding is tagged:

We're honest about the limits of automation. Mechanism and undercut detection in particular always goes through human review — that's the craft you're paying for, and it's why our reports are trustworthy.

4. After-care & re-diagnosis

We stand behind our work, within clear boundaries:

What "re-diagnosis" means

Re-diagnosis covers questions about the report we already delivered. It does not cover new defects, new parts, or changes you make to the product after delivery — those are a new order. A changed product design is always a new order.

"Plan didn't work" — defined

If you followed our written plan and can show the execution record (parameter screenshots, photos) and the problem still isn't solved, that triggers a free re-diagnosis. "It didn't work" without having actually run the plan does not.

5. What we don't do

6. No guarantee of outcome

Injection molding and tooling involve many variables beyond any single report's control — your press, your resin lot, your operators, your maintenance. Like any professional engineering firm, we use our best skill and judgment, but we cannot and do not guarantee a specific result: not a first-shot success, not a defect-free part, not a production yield, not a cost saving. Past work shown on this site does not guarantee future results.

This is standard for professional engineering services worldwide. What you're buying is expert analysis and a documented plan — not a warranty on how your molded parts turn out.

7. Your responsibilities

8. Payment

9. Confidentiality

Your files, drawings, and data are kept confidential and used only to perform your service. We don't share them with third parties. Where we show work on this site, it is anonymized with the client's understanding, and no confidential process data (such as exact shrinkage factors or formulations) is ever disclosed.

10. Intellectual property

On full payment, the deliverables we create specifically for your project are yours to use for that project. Our internal methods, knowledge base, templates, and know-how remain ours.

11. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising from a service is limited to the amount you paid for that service. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages — including lost production, lost profit, or tooling rework costs — even if advised of the possibility. All implied warranties are excluded.

12. Scope & changes

Each order covers the scope agreed in your quote. Changes to scope — added parts, new requirements, redesigns after delivery — are handled as a new quote. This page is a plain-English summary of our standard terms; a specific order may be governed by a separate written agreement, which prevails if there's any conflict.

Questions before you order? Ask us anything about scope, deliverables, or boundaries — we'd rather be clear up front than sort it out later. Send us your part →
