Does this replace a professional DFM audit?

No. It organizes text, explains terms and converts explicit measurements. It does not inspect geometry, calculate molding behavior or approve a production design.

Can it translate ISO requirements into ASME equivalents?

It identifies the standard and edition as written and links to public scope information. It does not treat different standards as equivalent or generate licensed standard-table tolerances.

Do I need an API subscription to use it?

No. This version processes the notes and conversions within the page. You choose when to send the resulting brief through the engineering intake.
